Hackathon Rules & Regulations

1. Eligibility

Open to students of all skill levels. Participation can be individual (solo) or in teams. Teams can have a minimum of 1 and a maximum of 4 members.

2. Registration

Every participant must register before the deadline. Teams must finalize their members before the hackathon starts. Incomplete registrations will be disqualified.

3. Hackathon Rounds & Submission Process

Round 1: Ideathon

Teams/individuals must submit a detailed proposal including Problem Statement, Proposed Solution, Technologies, and Expected Outcome.

Evaluation Criteria: Uniqueness, Feasibility, Technical Soundness.

Note: Round 1 (Ideathon) is free of cost. Teams/individuals selected for Round 2 must pay a fee of INR 250 to continue participation online.

Round 2: Final Development

Teams/individuals develop their projects online and submit final source code, documentation, and demo via version control tools (e.g., GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket).

4. Project Requirements

Projects must be developed from scratch during the hackathon period. Plagiarism, reusing pre-existing projects, or submitting incomplete repositories will lead to disqualification.

5. Technology Stack

Participants can use any programming language, framework, or tool. Open-source libraries & APIs are allowed with proper credits.

6. Development Period

Teams/individuals must work only during the hackathon duration. All commits and submissions must be pushed to the assigned version control repository before the deadline. Late submissions will not be considered.

7. Prizes & Winner Selection

Winning teams/individuals will be selected based on innovation, technical implementation, repository quality (commit history, documentation, code structure), user experience, and presentation.

8. Code of Conduct

Maintain professionalism, avoid harassment, and respect others' ideas. Unauthorized collaboration outside your registered team or plagiarism will lead to disqualification.

9. Final Notes

By registering, participants agree to follow these rules. Hackathon organizers reserve the right to modify rules if necessary.
